From creepy to captivating, catch one-of-a-kind Halloween activities in Las Vegas.
As Halloween approaches, the glamour gives way to gore, and the bright lights turn into fearsome frights on the Las Vegas Strip. Don’t get stuck without plans during Halloween in Las Vegas. This year’s haunted happenings kick off on a lucky Friday the 13th, where the city has been preparing for an influx of visitors — and an extremely festive locale — to don wicked-good costumes and take to the streets for holiday fun. Check out these eight things to do in Las Vegas on Halloween in 2025.
Returning for the 2025 season, ScAREA15 brings more big names in entertainment — and huge concepts in horror — than ever to its cool expanse. Huge festival parties, or “massives,” will take over in a Strange Circus theme for 2025. Headliners will include Valentino Khan and his KHAN-O-WEEN set, alongside other sideshow acts designed to get the blood pumping. For an underground experience, guests can descend into Odyssey Noir to attend a rave and explore nine secret rooms, as well as dedicated pop-ups. Of course, drinks are available courtesy of on-site vendors, along with art installations and other forms of entertainment.
As an extension of AREA15, the newest horror compound in Las Vegas isn’t playing nice. Four terrifying haunted houses stretch across Universal Horror Unleashed: a packed terror-fest from Universal Monsters; a haunting story through Scarecrow: The Reaping; loud tools and fury at The Texas Chainsaw Massacre; and the chilling Blumhouse’s The Exorcist: Believer. Horror Unleashed marks the first of its kind in Nevada, from the same company that dazzles and delights in Hollywood and international cities. Select the VIP package to unlock additional experiences, along with premium food and drink options.
In terms of scary-good music genres, electronic music takes the top slot. Art of the Wild is a multi-day festival at Wynn that takes place during Halloweekend, featuring four days of top DJ talent from across the world. As a series that plays everything from boho beats to deep house and techno, everyone’s dance jams will play across the weekend. Enjoy sets by Odesza, Bob Sinclair, Xenaa, and many others from October 30–November 2. Catch one night — or all of them, for the clubbing savants — in the luxury expanse of XS Nightclub, located at Wynn Las Vegas.
If Las Vegas maintains its moniker of Sin City through its gambling draw, then guests may sin away. The Wynn Fall Classic returns for the entire month of October as the resort’s resident poker tournament. Over 50 events and $4 million in guaranteed prizes are on the table, with daily events across no-limit Texas Hold’Em, Torse, and other games. The private portion of the invitational kicks off on October 25 and 26, with a buy-in totaling over $106,000 and a 50-guest limit.
If the spoils of trick-or-treating come in liquid form, PISCES Bar & Seafare is the perfect house on the block to visit. This iconic seafood stop serves cocktails created by the one and only Mariena Mercer-Boarini, master mixologist at Wynn Las Vegas. The Aquamarine glitters like the evening sky, complete with Sauvignon blanc, honeydew melon, cantaloupe, and a handmade “Aegean Sea” lemongrass cordial. Also on the menu, a collection of gin and tonic varieties also awaits, perfect for sipping next to the romantic Lake of Dreams.
To recover from Halloween night, Delilah at Wynn recently introduced brunch, offering a delicious mix of American and continental cuisine. Start with a cheeky mid-morning beverage, such as the frothy Best Intentions spicy margarita with rosaluna mezcal, poblano chile liqueur, caramelized pineapple, habañero spiced agave nectar, and lime juice, perfectly paired with a French omelette with caviar and breakfast potatoes, or even a sweet indulgence like the brioche French toast with Harry’s Berries and whipped mascarpone. Don’t forget to order champagne to make the occasion special. Each bite beckons through the glittering expanse of Delilah’s upscale diner motif, complete with cozy booths and a lively main stage for performances and music.
Holidays are just the start of can’t-miss happenings. The Sphere breaks both records and the status quo in entertainment, and this year’s magical Halloween showing includes none other than The Wizard of Oz. Follow Dorothy and the gang down the yellow brick road in a jaw-dropping LED display — but not before taking a peek at the striped stocking feet poking out from underneath The Sphere. This timeless film from 1939 plays for two daytime features, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., to head to the Land of Oz early in the day.
Every local knows his name, but his haunted hovel remains one of the best places to go in Las Vegas for Halloween.
Nothing is more frightening than authentic, haunted artifacts — some of which you need to sign a waiver to even see. Notorious paranormal investigator and ghost savant Zak Bagans is the founder of self-named The Zak Bagans Haunted Museum, home to an archival collection of possessed trinkets and eerie trappings of yesteryear. Anyone in the mood to get spooked onsite is in for a treat. Signature scary things include a haunted rocking chair that inspired an entire Conjuring film, the “Dybbuk Box” rumored to have cursed Post Malone, ritual items from a haunted house, and, of course, evil dolls.
