BBQ with The Smoke Queen

Join us for an unforgettable evening with Winnie Yee, one of the few female pitmasters in America, teams with Alberto Trujillo, Wynn's executive chef of catering and events, to host an Asian-inspired outdoor BBQ on Wynn's event lawn. A unique blend of her Chinese-Malaysian heritage and classic American smoking techniques. Winnie’s BBQ style embodies the rich flavors that come from living between cultures—neither fully Asian nor entirely American, but something that is distinctively her own.

Her journey began with a humble backyard BBQ venture, which grew into the celebrated Smoke Queen Barbecue in Garden Grove, California. Winnie has become a standout star on TV and social media, with appearances on Food Network’s "BBQ Brawl with Bobby Flay," "Beat Bobby Flay," and the renowned competition "Chopped."

With the release of her debut cookbook, Chinese American Barbecue, Winnie now brings her “BBQ without borders” philosophy to Wynn for a special Connoisseur evening. Savor Asian-inspired, slow-cooked barbecue specialties prepared by Winnie herself, using Wynn’s outdoor smoker on the lush event lawn.

Ticket price includes the cooking demo, casual BBQ supper on the lawn, select open bar, a copy of Winnie's book, as well as tax and gratuities.
