Wynn Nightlife headliners, best friends and bandmates Sofi Tukker love Las Vegas, and they want to have as much fun as possible while exploring the city. That’s why they are so delighted to have Wynn as their home base. This and Mizumu, of course.

Sofi thinks Tukker should memorialize his love of Mizumi in a major way.

“If you were to ask me what Tucker's favorite food is, I would say tuna crispy rice. I could write that on his gravestone, and it would be true,” she says.

Sofi can’t get enough of the warm chocolate fondant and essentially everything else at the resort.

“Wynn is the first place I ever visited in Las Vegas,” Sofi says. “There is a seed that was planted in that moment around having a residency here, and it's full circle and very cool that we've ended up here.”

“It is the best hospitality, the best place to stay, the best restaurants, best shopping, and the best clubs,” Tukker says.

Guests can enjoy their music, which they describe as “for dancing, worldly, often guitar-based and unexpected,” at XS and Encore Beach Club, on regular rotation. They also love creating a “visual world” for their audience.

The duo came together in 2014 when Sofi was working with a Brazilian poet, and she began reciting one of his poems on top of a guitar, and the two collaboratively created the track “Drinkee.”

“It kind of sounded like a mantra, and it just felt really good,” she says. “And that was the impetus for us to start the band. Before then, we were making music in college. But that moment was when we realized that when we mix our two brains, it comes out with something weird and different, and that's the blueprint of what we want to create.”
