Sam Morril is one of the fastest-rising stand-up comics and one of the best joke writers in the scene today. He released his fourth stand-up special, “Sam Morril: Same Time Tomorrow,", on Netflix in 2022 and his popular podcast “We Might Be Drunk” with co-host Mark Normand, has been going strong since early 2021. Morril can also be seen on Netflix’s “That’s My Time with David Letterman".
Over the years, Morril has been a regular on the late-night circuit with stand-up sets on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert", “The Late, Late Show with James Corden” and “Conan". He’s also had stints on “Last Comic Standing", “America’s Got Talent", “@midnight with Chris Hardwick” and “Inside Amy Schumer".
In 2020, his Comedy Central special “I Got This” debuted on their YouTube channel and received over 1.5 million views within the first two weeks. In 2015, his debut album, “Class Act", with Comedy Central Records, went to No. 1 on iTunes and made numerous top 10 lists.
Since everything he touches turns to gold, Morril was the host of his very own show on MSG called “People Talking Sports", which ran for two seasons and received an Emmy nomination. He also has a cameo in the Academy Award-nominated film, “Joker".
