The number of tables used will be determined by the final number of entrants. There will be a maximum of six (6) players per table for each round. Depending on the total number of entrants and the number of players that advance to each round, some tables may have more players than other tables. Tournament Staff shall use its best efforts to uniformly distribute the number of players per table.
- Re-Buys: Players will be allowed to purchase a Re-Buy after the fifth (5 th ) and tenth (10 th ) hands of each Round (the “Re-Buy Hands”) for a total of two (2) Re-Buys per round. Players will receive an additional 20,000 in Tournament chips for each Re-Buy they purchase. The Dealer will open up the opportunity for players to Re-Buy after all wagers have been acted upon during the Re-Buy Rounds. Players that run out of Tournament chips during the Re-Buy Hands are eligible to Re-Buy following the corresponding Re-Buy Hand. Players eliminated prior to a Re-Buy Hand are not eligible to Re-Buy. Players must give a verbal verification if the player would like to Re-Buy. Once confirmation is given, a Tournament official will place a lammer on the table corresponding to the player and upon verification of Re-Buy purchase funds, 20,000 in Tournament chips will be issued. Once all Re-Buys have been confirmed, the Dealer will close the opportunity for Re-Buy and the round will proceed with the next hand.
- Add-ons will not be offered in the $500,000 Blackjack Tournament.
- The number of players to advance from each round will depend on the total number of entrants.
- Each round will have a maximum of fifteen (15) hands. If a player runs out of tournament chips before the fifteen (15 th ) hand during any round they will be eliminated. In the event there are not enough remaining players to advance to the next round, the player(s) who remained in play the longest before being eliminated will be seeded higher. If more than one (1) player is eliminated on the same hand, the player with the greater tournament chip count at the start of that hand will be seeded higher.
- There will be one (1) chip count after the fourteenth (14 th ) hand of each round.
- In all rounds at the start of the fifteenth (15 th ) hand each player will secretly wager an amount based upon standard $500,000 Blackjack Tournament wager rules. Tournament Staff will need to verify the wager.
- If it is necessary to break a tie affecting advancement into the next round, each tied player will receive 10,000 total in tournament chips to be used on a secret bet on one (1) hand. Each tied player will secretly wager an amount based upon standard $500,000 Blackjack Tournament wager rules. Tournament Staff will need to verify the wager. The winner of the secret bet will advance to the next round. In the event a winner cannot be determined after the first secret bet, additional hands will follow until a winner can be determined.
- Each player advancing to the Quarter-Final Round, Semi-Final Round and Final Round must present their Official Advance Slip at the Tournament Desk in order to receive a table assignment and position for the next round.
- Each player shall report to their assigned table at least ten (10) minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. Each round shall start as scheduled. If a player is late for the start of the round, the player will forfeit 1,000 in tournament chips for each hand missed, through the first five (5) hands and before action on the 6 th hand has begun. - Dealers will use a standard six-deck shoe throughout the $500,000 Blackjack Tournament . Before each hand begins, the dealer will shuffle the cards. Each shoe will be dealt down to the yellow cut card and the hand in progress will be finished. Cards will then be reshuffled, cut by Tournament Staff and play will continue. Cards will be dealt face up. Players may not touch cards.
- In case of a misdealt hand, the hand will be considered void and re-dealt. Misdeal is when a card is dealt out of sequence. If only the first card of the hand is placed out of sequence and the second card has not been dealt, the card can be moved to the correct spot.

A player may not call Even Money; the player must make the Insurance Bet. Surrender is not allowed.
- A time limit will be imposed during betting, giving each player thirty (30) seconds to place their bet before the minimum bet of 1,000 in tournament chips is placed.
- On the final hand in each round there will be no betting limit and increments do not apply. Players can bet any amount up to the amount of tournament chips they have in front of them.
- All bets and decisions must be made in sequence beginning with the first hand. The first betting and first card to be dealt to spot will be determined by the roll of a die at the beginning of each round by a Tournament official with a marker chip placed in front of that player. The marker chip will be handled by the dealers only. After a bet has been made, the marker chip placement cannot be changed nor can the position be challenged. The marker chip will be moved to the next player after each hand of play, regardless of the outcome. Once a bet is placed it cannot be changed or touched, except by the dealer to collect or pay. All bets must be placed in the circle in one move.
- Dealers Stand on all 17s.
