50 Best Signature Sessions
The World's 50 Best Restaurants has announced its 50 Best Signature Sessions series, presented in partnership with Resy and American Express, taking place across Las Vegas this June as part of the official 2024 events program. The series will see chefs from the previous World's 50 Best Restaurant lists join forces with select local Las Vegas restaurants. They will combine their culinary talents to present diners with an exclusive taste of the 50 Best like never before. The 50 Best Signature Sessions include collaborative dining experiences at three Wynn Las Vegas restaurants, on June 3, 4, and 6.
MONDAY, JUNE 3 – CASA PLAYA, 6:30 P.M. 50 Best Signature Sessions: Elena Reygadas (Rosetta, Mexico City) x Sarah Thompson (Casa Playa, Wynn Las Vegas)
Two leading female chefs come together to celebrate Mexican cooking at Casa Playa. Chef Sarah Thompson (Casa Playa, Wynn Las Vegas) hosts Elena Reygadas (The World's Best Female Chef 2023, Rosetta, Mexico City) for a five-course dinner exploring the vibrant flavors of the region, complemented by cocktails from Wynn's Master Mixologist Mariena Mercer Boarini.
MONDAY, JUNE 3 – MIZUMI, 6:30 P.M. 50 Best Signature Session: Thitid Tassanakajohn (Le Du, Bangkok) x Pichaya Soontornyanakij (Potong, Bangkok) x Jeff Ramsey (Mizumi, Wynn Las Vegas)
Japan-meets-Thailand at Mizumi when two of Asia's finest chefs, Thitid “Ton” Tassanakajohn (No. 15 in The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2023, Le Du, Bangkok) and Pichaya “Pam” Soontornyanakij (Asia's Best Female Chef 2024, Potong, Bangkok), bring a taste of Bangkok to Las Vegas in collaboration with Chef Jeff Ramsey (Mizumi, Wynn Las Vegas).
TUESDAY, JUNE 4 – SINATRA, 12 P.M. 50 Best Signature Session: Enrico Crippa (Piazza Duomo, Alba, Italy) x Theo Schoenegger (Sinatra, Wynn Las Vegas)
Theo Schoenegger (Sinatra, Wynn Las Vegas) welcomes Enrico Crippa and his team to Frank Sinatra’s namesake restaurant in Encore to showcase the very finest in sophisticated Italian cuisine. Crippa's restaurant (No. 42 in The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2023, Piazza Duomo, Alba, Italy) is renowned for its art-inspired dishes, so expect the epitome of creativity at this lunchtime celebration.
THURSDAY, JUNE 6 – LAKESIDE, 6:30 P.M. 50 Best Signature Session: Icons Dinner
The 50 Best Signature Sessions rounds off with a bang: seven of the finest chefs from across the Americas gather at Wynn's Lakeside for the Icons Dinner. The all-star line-up includes: Thomas Keller and Daniel Humm from Best of the Best restaurants The French Laundry and Eleven Madison Park; former Icon Award winner Dominique Crenn of Atelier Crenn; JP Park of Atomix (No. 8 in The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2023); Kyle Connaughton of Single Thread (No. 68 in The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2023), as well as one former and one current holder of The World's Best Pastry Chef title in Dominique Ansel and Pia Salazar, respectively. This once-in-a-lifetime dining experience will feature a six-course feast with complementing wines.
