Wynn's New Overlook Lounge celebrates classic European design by Wynn Design & Development President and Chief Creative Officer Todd-Avery Lenahan. Whimsical hybrid “bunnyfish” sculptures flank the bar, lending it a magical hunting lodge quality.

For its cocktail menu, Wynn mixologist Mariena Mercer Boarini created original takes on cocktail classics inspired by the most fashionable destinations in the world—Amalfi, Morocco, Milan, and Paris. Guests must specifically request Overlook’s most original drink—The Matterhorn—since it does not appear on the menu. The new lounge is all about views, after all, and the cocktail was inspired by Lenahan’s annual trips to the mountain and its simultaneous views of Italy and Switzerland. The by-request drink is made from Casa Dragones Joven tequila, Yzaguirre Rojo Reserva (a Spanish sweet vermouth), and Amaro Meletti, a slightly bitter Italian digestif. Served in a custom-made vessel of horn, sterling silver, and glass—the most extravagant piece of stemware in any Wynn resort—it is spritzed with an aperitif parfum with notes of juniper, alpine, and warming spices.

You might scale this mountain while looking out at Wynn’s other transporting peak—the mountain behind Wynn’s Lake of Dreams, right in Overlook’s sightline.
