Q. Where is the Employment Center located?

A. You can find a map/directions to the Employment Center by clicking on the direction link on the upper left section of your application page.

Q. Can I fill out a paper application?

A. No. We do not accept paper applications. All applications must be submitted via our online application process using a valid email address. All communication regarding the positions you apply for will be sent to the email address that you provide.

Q. Where do I go to apply?

A. You can apply anywhere that has a computer and Internet access by visiting our website www.wynnjobs.com.

Q. What if I don't have a computer? Or know how to use one?

A. You may visit one of the following locations and use their computers to log into our website at www.wynnjobs.com:

Q. Is there a separate job application website for Encore at Wynn Las Vegas?

A. No. You can apply for employment at both Wynn Las Vegas and Encore at Wynn Las Vegas on the same website. Simply visit us at www.wynnjobs.com.

Q. Why is the application only in English? What should I do if I need assistance?

A. Most of the jobs at Wynn Las Vegas and Encore at Wynn Las Vegas require employees to read, speak and understand some English. For this reason, our job applications are also in English. Some of the computer access locations listed above will assist you if you are experiencing a language barrier, we would recommend calling ahead to verify that someone will be able to assist you.

Q. How do I know my application was received?

A. When you have completed your entire application and have clicked on the "Submit" button you will be brought to a page that will acknowledge that your application has been received. In addition, you will also receive an email confirmation each time you apply for a new position.

Q. How do I change information on my application?

A. Your initial application should be as accurate as possible, the only way to edit your application once it is processed is by calling us.

Q. Can I view and print my application?

A. No, our system does not allow you to print your full application. However, if you visit your Job Submission Status page, you are able to see the status of any position you've placed an application for.

Q. Can I attach my resume to the online application?

A. Yes, you are able to submit your resume when you create your applicant profile. We would also encourage you to upload your resume, regardless of whether you apply for a position. This allows our Hiring Managers to search your resume for a specific skill set and reach out to you.

Q. Can I apply for more than one job?

A. Yes. You can apply for as many positions as you would like. We would strongly recommend only placing applications for those positions that most closely match your field of experience.

Q. How do I remove myself from a position I am no longer interested in?

A. You can change the positions you apply for by logging into your wynnjobs profile. There is a "Withdraw" button located on the right of each position. After withdrawing from a position, you will be removed and the Hiring Manager will no longer be able to review your application for that position. This change in status may take up to 24 hours to reflect on your Job Submission Status page.

Q. I accidentally withdrew my application, how can I get it reinstated?

A. If you withdraw your application by mistake, please login to your wynnjobs profile and visit the Job Submission Status page. You will be able to reinstate your application by clicking the "reinstate" button located to the right of the position you would like to be reconsidered for.

Q. I don't see the position I want to apply for. Why not?

A. There are two possible reasons. The first reason is that the job may not be currently available. The second reason is that the job you are searching for may be known under a different title than you are used to. If you cannot find the job you are looking for right away, try searching for the type of position by division or area. For example, if you are searching for a "maid" position, you could search by the Hotel Division and you'll see the job "Guest Room Attendant" displayed. Another option you may consider is leaving the search options filtered by "All" and sorting through the list of jobs we currently have posted. Q. If I don't see the position I am interested in, Can I be alerted when the job becomes available?

A. Yes. When you search a specific job and no options are available you can create a "Search Agent". Creating the search agent allows you to either repeat your search at a later date (for example, if you search using the same criteria every day, you can save the search as an agent so you will not have to enter the criteria every time you return to the site), or to have the results of your search e-mailed to you on a regular basis. In the "Create Search Agent" popup, enter the Search name, select the Frequency with which you want search results mailed to you, and confirm the E-mail address where you want the results sent. You can edit or delete your agents for the "Search Agent Manager", which displays all of your search agents. Please note that to create a search agent, you may be required to log in. so a Login prompt may appear when you first click the Create Search Agent button.

Q. What does 'Save to Cart' mean when I am viewing jobs?

A. If you see a Save to Cart button and would like to save one or more of these jobs so you can view, submit or apply to them at a later date, select the checkboxes next to the jobs you want to save and click Save to Cart. The job(s) will be stored in your job cart, which you can access at any time to view or submit your applications more quickly. Each job will be saved until it expires (all jobs expiring when the posting is removed from our site - we remove jobs from the website when there are no longer positions available). Please note that to save a job to your job cart, you may be required to log in.

Q. How can I find out how much a certain job pays?

A. Wages are not listed on the wynnjobs.com website. At the hiring manager's discretion, wages may be discussed during the job interview.

Q. Does Wynn Las Vegas/Encore at Wynn Las Vegas do drug testing?

A. Yes, drug testing is a condition of employment at our company. At Wynn Resorts, we use a hair test that identifies the use of illegal substances.

Q. Why am I asked to list my date of birth, height, and weight in the background section?

A. Your birthday, height, and weight are used for background check purposes only. The information is never used in consideration of a job opportunity. Hiring managers and supervisors do not see, nor have access, to this information.

Q. My spouse is currently an employee of Wynn Las Vegas/ Encore at Wynn Las Vegas. Can I still apply?

A. Yes, you are still able to apply. However, you are required to disclose this information on your job application and during your interview to ensure there is no conflict of interest. If there is a situation where a conflict of interest occurs, your case will be examined and appropriate approvals may be necessary.

Q. Why do I have to give you my Social Security Number to complete the application?

A. Your Social Security Number is used for background check purposes only. Because our site is secure, hiring managers and supervisors do not see, nor have access, to this information.

Q. Do I need former hotel/casino experience?

A. It depends on the position you are considering placing an application for. There are several positions that have qualifications that utilize crossover skills from other industries, and there are some positions that are very hotel/casino specific. The job description shown for each job will tell you the specific job responsibilities and requirements for that position. We encourage you to place an application for positions that best fit your current field of qualifications.

Q. With whom will I be interviewing?

A. If you are selected to interview for a position, you will interview with a member of that department's management team or a member of Human Resources depending on the position.

Q. Is the Culinary and Bartender Union at Wynn Las Vegas/ Encore at Wynn Las Vegas?

A. Yes. The Las Vegas Culinary Worker's Union Local 226 and Bartenders Union, Local 165 is at Wynn Resorts.

Q. What if I have special needs and require help filling out my application?

A. If you are hearing or sight impaired, or have other special needs, you may visit the Employment Center and one of our representatives will assist you with this process, or you may bring someone to help you complete your application.

Q. What is an I-9?

A. An I-9 is a document required by the Immigration and Naturalization Department to ensure that all persons working in the United States are authorized to do so. There are specific documents necessary to complete an I-9. Click on the I-9 link below for a list of acceptable I-9 documents.


Q. Will Wynn Las Vegas/Encore at Wynn Las Vegas sponsor me for a work visa?

A. This is handled on an individual case by case and for specialized positions within the company.

Password Questions

Q. Why do I need to create a Username and Password?

A. We ask you to create a user profile to make your application secure and to ensure your privacy. A valid email address (username) and password will give you a unique way to sign into your wynnjobs.com profile. Our system uses the email address you provide as a communication tool for scheduling interviews and updating you on your application status. When you login using your email address and password, you can check on the status of your application, edit the information you provided, and/or view instructions you may receive from our company. Please be sure to keep your password confidential and do not share it with others.

Q. What happens if I forget my password?

A. If you forget your password please click on the link below the sign-in area that reads "forgot password" and follow the instructions that appear on the pop-up window. Wynn Resorts does not have access to login information for our applicants, if the "forgot password" link is not working, please contact the Kenexa helpdesk at 1 (888) 265-6969.

Gaming Registration

Q. Do all jobs require a gaming registration?

A. Only positions defined under the definition of a "gaming employee" require a gaming registration. All appropriate work cards are discussed during the interview and job offer process.

Q. How do I get a gaming registration if I need one?

A. If offered a position that requires a gaming registration; you will be given instructions to complete your gaming application before or during your job offer.

Q. I have a Gaming registration already, will I need to get a new one?

A. No, unless it is expired or will expire in 60 days from the day the position is offered to you. If it is expired or will expire within 60 days you will be asked to renew your registration and list Wynn Resorts as your employer.

Out of State Applicants

Q. Will I be considered for employment if I live out of state?

A. Yes. However, please be aware that you may be required to visit our offices several times throughout the employment process. In general, we do not offer travel and relocation assistance.

Q. How do I apply if I currently reside out of the US?

A. You must have a social security number in order to apply for a position. If you need additional assistance you may e-mail us at wynnjobs@wynnlasvegas.com.
